"Indian Peaks" watermedia by Boulder, CO artist Sharon Hults
Sharon Hults began painting at an early age as a means of exploring ways to express her appreciation of the natural beauty around her. Sharon has made extensive photography trips throughout the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore, gathering material for her paintings. Composition with strong contrast and crisp washes are her trademarks. She prefers watercolor as her medium for creating a delicate balance and drama in her work.
Sharon's new lifestyle as a "full-time traveler" in her moblie studio opens a variety of new subject matter as well as a new media called fabric paintings. Sharon's creations are in a number of national and international private collections, as well as corporate collections. Most recently she has completed commission work for Boulder Good Samaritan Retirement Center, Parker, Littleton, Porter and Avista Adventist Hospitals, and for Centure Health Corporate Office.
