Kathy Berls is a Colorado Artist who works in oils, prismacolor, ink and also graphic design. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and a Secondary Teaching Credential from the University of California, Long Beach.
She states, "Painting is both a challenge and a love. I cannot imagine my live without it! I really don't have long term goals - just to keep trying new things, to accept more difficult compositional challenges, and to keep producing works that seem to bring joy to others."
Kathy also devotes a lot of her time to promoting and teaching the arts through the Lakewood Arts Council and Mountainside Art Guild.
